Jacinta is a collection of headwear inspired by a deep exploration of heritage, craftsmanship, and identity. Born from a journey both literal and symbolic, this project reflects the essence of Colombian tradition—crafted by expert hands in the heart of the mountains. It is a moment of self-reflection, a questioning of where we come from and where we are headed.
The collection was developed through a collaborative methodology, designed to conserve the endangered oral traditions and heirloom craftsmanship of Colombia. These pieces, each woven with meaning, serve as a bridge between past and future, offering a path to preserve cultural knowledge and legacy.
As Philip Treacy said, "How a hat makes you feel is what a hat is all about." Jacinta embodies that sentiment, creating headwear that is not only visually stunning but deeply rooted in history, identity, and emotion.
